AI-Assisted Tools and Data Use

Draft assistance with developer review, consent boundaries, and precautions for sensitive information.

Assistance, not autonomous sending

AI tools can help prepare product descriptions, campaign drafts, subject ideas, preview text, rewrites, and promotion plans. Developers review the output and choose whether to publish or send it. Generated copy is not a promise of sales or email performance.

The configured AI integration

The product, storefront, marketing and operational assistance integrations use Google Gemini when those features are enabled. Submitted instructions and relevant product, storefront, campaign or operational context can be sent to that provider to produce the requested draft or asset. Review the input before requesting assistance.

Operational support and analytics assistance

Authorized workspace users can request support-reply drafts, analytics explanations, promotion plans and automation recommendations. Support messages and developer notes submitted for that task can be sent to Gemini, alongside a limited recent product context. Deals require marketing access; 30-day order counts and gross, refund and dispute totals, plus supplied dashboard metrics, require analytics access. Support-only requests do not receive those financial aggregates.

These workspace-wide tools require all-products scope and the permission for the requested tool. Saved operational drafts contain generated output, related record references, provider/model and review status; access and status changes are restricted by workspace, tool and the context permissions recorded during generation. Older drafts with unknown context require both analytics and marketing access in addition to the tool permission. Marking a draft applied does not send a message, change prices or execute an automation.

Keep sensitive information out of prompts

Do not submit passwords, API secrets, full serials, payment details, or unnecessary customer records. Review the relevant provider and privacy disclosures before submitting confidential material; no blanket provider-training or data-residency promise is made here.

Review facts before publishing

Check pricing, discounts, compatibility, product rights, availability, and legal claims. The developer remains responsible for the content sent or published under their brand.

Catalog extraction assistance

Enabled Google Gemini assistance can propose product-export header mappings and extract public product-page facts. Header matching sends column names rather than private download links or customer CSV values. Review descriptions, product types, currencies, media rights, and other source facts before saving; the tool does not publish or authorize marketing.
