Guide
Closing a Developer Account
Coordinate new sales, renewals, existing access, credentials, remaining balances, and retained records.
Request a coordinated closeout
Contact support@soundsyncsolutions.biz from the developer account contact. Verify the request and agree the effective closure date before removing storefront access or product files.
Resolve sales, renewals, and customer access
Stop new sales and campaigns at the agreed time. Resolve subscription renewals explicitly. Closure alone should not silently invalidate unrelated or previously fulfilled customer purchases; agree the access and support transition.
Final statement and eligible balance
Developer, affiliate, and collaborator payouts are available twice monthly, on the 1st and 15th of each month, on the same schedule. Each payout covers eligible earnings from the previous period, plus any older unpaid eligible balance, after a minimum 14-day hold. Funds still within the hold carry forward to the next eligible payout date; unresolved adjustments and account restrictions can affect eligibility. Developer payouts use Stripe Connect in USD. The scheduled date is the payment-initiation date, not a guarantee of arrival in a bank or payment account.
Remaining eligible funds follow the next applicable payout date. Funds still within the hold follow their eligible cycle. Request an itemized final statement. The regular closing-month minimum applies without proration; qualifying fees count toward it.
Credentials and retained information
Revoke the developer credentials and staff access appropriate to the closure. Financial obligations and required records remain; account closure is not a complete erasure of every record.
Send access, correction, export, deletion, or account-closure requests to support@soundsyncsolutions.biz. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within five business days and respond without undue delay, ordinarily within one calendar month of receipt. We explain any legally permitted extension, identity checks, retained records, and next steps within the applicable deadline; verification is not a blanket reason to restart the clock. Closing an account, unsubscribing from marketing, and deleting personal information are different requests. No instant, all-record deletion is promised.
Close recipient obligations separately
Ending the developer account does not erase accepted affiliate or collaborator terms, original sale allocations, outstanding reversals, or amounts already reserved for a recipient. Review developer and recipient statements separately, resolve pending refunds/disputes, and keep verified payout destinations available for the remaining eligible settlement.
Managed-sale funds from Stripe and PayPal are held in the dedicated business payout account, used for developer, affiliate, and collaborator payouts rather than business expenses. All three follow the 1st and 15th schedule for eligible prior-period earnings after a minimum 14-day hold. Developer payout uses Stripe Connect. Account closure does not convert that account into escrow or remove provider, hold, or recovery checks.
The closing month uses the same minimum
The regular $10 monthly minimum applies in full in the closing month; it is not prorated. Qualifying SoundSync fees count toward that amount. If those fees reach $10, no additional minimum is charged. If they total less than $10, only the difference is due. Closing the account does not add another $10 on top of qualifying fees.
Resolve unfinished work before closeout
Review unfinished catalog imports and staged media, active campaigns and growth flows, and recurring customer subscriptions before closing the workspace. Turning off new sales does not cancel existing subscriptions or settle recipient obligations. Coordinate the final payout review and required retained records with SoundSync support.
