Use the same filters when comparing
Select the date range, product filter, and reseller inclusion consistently. An external-order view and managed-checkout view can have different fee and attribution treatment. Export the scoped report when you need to reconcile a particular period.
Revenue, product revenue, revenue after fees, and a payout are different measures. Use the metric definitions and financial statement rather than treating a dashboard total as immediately payable cash.
Optional external analytics
GA4 on your verified custom domain is a separate integration. It does not replace SoundSync's licensing, orders, or statement records, and its page views are not an automatically imported accounting report.

Read revenue, earnings, and payouts separately
| Measure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Gross product revenue | Product value before discounts and tax; not the total charged to the customer. |
| Net product revenue | Product value after discounts and product-level adjustments, excluding tax. |
| Customer payment volume | Customer payments including applicable tax; keep it separate from product revenue. |
| Developer earnings | The developer allocation after the SoundSync fee, applicable accepted shares, and recorded adjustments. |
| Eligible payout balance | Funded, unpaid earnings that have cleared the hold and account checks; not every sale in a date range. |
| External-sale estimates | Imported or partner-reported amounts are not automatically collected or payable SoundSync funds. |
Eight views, consistent filters
Review Overview, Commerce, Products, Customers, Marketing, Engagement, Retention, and Technical views. Keep date range, product, currency, and live/test scope aligned when comparing. Persisted transaction amounts and cent-level rounding anchor financial totals; imported external amounts are not silently treated as managed-checkout revenue.
Sessions use a 30-minute inactivity boundary. Returning visitors are people/visitor identities rather than repeated event counts. Initial checkout conversion excludes automatic renewals. Missing historical measurements remain unavailable rather than appearing as invented zeroes.
Sensitive dashboard sections stay permissioned
Analytics access does not grant private customer snapshots, billing charges, settlement balances or reseller administration. Those dashboard sections follow the matching record permission. Goal editing requires owner or administrator settings access; read-only analysts retain their permitted analytics.
