Product Setup

Configure identity, price, licensing, files, and publication for the saved product.

Prepare a complete product

  1. Identity and media

Set the name, product type/category, descriptions, artwork, and supported customer presentation.

  2. Price and offer

Select the supported one-time or recurring model and review the final after-discount price.

  3. Licensing

Choose the access/activation mode and device policy appropriate to this product.

  4. Files

Upload, verify, and attach the correct delivery version and platform files.

  5. Integration

Generate product credentials and the selected HISEScript, native HISE, or JUCE package only after saving settings.

  6. Customer site

Review storefront, marketplace listing, support, and any product-specific imagery.

  7. Publish and test

Exercise checkout or the supported free/external claim and customer library with test identities before publishing the real offer.

Minimum paid product price

Paid products, subscriptions, and bundles must remain at least $9.99 after discounts, before tax. Free claims follow the redemption model rather than a discounted paid checkout.

Keep updates scoped

Use the product's supported details/type/commerce/delivery/publication actions. A file change, a credential rotation, and archiving the product are not the same update. Regenerate packages when their bundled values change.

Rent-to-own configuration is present but current production live installment checkout is unavailable. Do not use its settings as proof that it is an available public payment option.

Set a price, not a pay-what-you-want amount

SoundSync does not support pay-what-you-want pricing. Set the product or offer price yourself; customers cannot choose an arbitrary purchase amount. Paid products, subscriptions, and bundles must remain at $9.99 or higher after discounts, before tax. Supported free offers use the separate free-claim flow.

Migrate products or start fresh

Product migration is supported. Import a public catalog, single product page, or product export into reviewed drafts. Select what to keep and fill missing fields in matched drafts without overwriting saved work, then finish delivery and licensing before publishing.

Migrate products

Review sources, mappings, prices, and existing matches.

Upload private files

Prepare files up to 10 GB each with supported resume.

Installation help beside the product

In the product editor, add installation instructions directly to the product page, alongside an optional install-guide link and display label. Instructions support up to 8,000 characters. The install-guide visibility setting also controls whether these instructions are included in public product content; keep private delivery links and customer details out of this text.

Keep existing subscribers on their billing interval

Monthly and annual offers use different billing cadences. If a standalone subscription or a linked subscription bundle has active, trialing, past_due or unpaid contracts, changing its monthly/yearly interval is blocked. Create a separate offer for the new cadence rather than changing the period beneath current subscribers.

The settings and versioned-bundle APIs return 409 SUBSCRIPTION_BILLING_INTERVAL_LOCKED for this condition. Reload the existing offer and retain its interval. This guard does not convert ownership models, cancel existing subscriptions or migrate payment-provider billing authority.

Manage a selection across the catalog

  1. Select products

Use row checkboxes or Select this page. Your selection is kept across catalog pages and filters during this session; Clear selection removes it. Check the selected count before continuing.

  2. Choose an action

Publish, Hide, Move to draft, Archive, Restore as draft or Delete permanently. Restore returns archived products as unlisted drafts, not live listings.

  3. Review and confirm

The confirmation names selected products. Permanent deletion requires every selected product to be archived and the exact DELETE N PRODUCTS confirmation shown.

  4. Read each result

Products are processed individually, not as one atomic transaction. Successful items leave the selection; failed and unprocessed items remain selected for review or retry.

Archive first; delete only when history permits

Archive keeps the product record and its history. Permanent deletion is blocked for products with protected customer, sales, license or linked-record history. Archiving does not erase purchases or waive existing delivery obligations; hiding a listing is not a refund or access-revocation command.

Navigating away or signing out stops remaining bulk work, although an in-flight request may finish. If the catalog cannot refresh after a successful action, reload before deciding to retry. A failure on one product does not undo successful changes to the others.
